Universal Robots’ popular UR5e just got a 2.5 kg payload upgrade. Introducing the UR7e!
The UR7e industrial collaborative robot brings ultimate flexibility to medium-duty applications with a payload capacity of up to 16 pounds and a reach of 33.5 inches, that’s over 7 inches further than the average worker’s arm! This substantial range is ideal when parts need to be loaded into a machine or tasks need to be completed outside of the reach of your employees.
When designing the UR7e, Universal Robots packed a considerable amount of power into this small-sized cobot. The lightweight structure offers mounting versatility when automating new or existing production lines. Easily install the robot on a table or in a machine to automate various activities in Machine Tending, Assembly, Dispensing, Material Handling or Quality Inspection applications.
The UR7e has an IP classification of IP54 also features new TüV test and cleanroom certification (not backward compatible to the UR5e). The UR5e cannot be updated to a UR7e in the field.
