Piab’s Kenos® MiniGrip - KMG

Piab’s Kenos® MiniGrip, KMG, is a foam gripper that can be adapted to tight clearance applications in an End of Arm Tool (EOAT) similar to a suction cup.  The foam surface provides you with the versatility to pick a variety of different objects without adjustment.  In case of uneven layer heights, the KMG can be equipped with level compensators without needing to change the mounting device.  To maximize its capacity and efficiency, the vacuum generation device can be mounted directly on or close to the Kenos® KMG.

Available in a round or rectangular shape, the KMG offers a stable and rigid grip even on non-flat, rough, structured or textured surfaces and can be used to pick up objects of porous or non-porous materials.

  • Strong, rigid support under vacuum

  • Round foam version is available with diameters of 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, and 70 mm

  • Choose a round version with either flow restriction or check valve technology

  • Rectangular foam version is available in four sizes:  20 x 80 mm,  20 x 120 mm, 40 x 60 mm, and 40 x 100 mm

  • The multiple suction holes of the rectangular version only require partial gripper surface coverage and is suitable for multiple parts handling
