    Process Improvement Manager/Operations Manager
  • Job Purpose:
    To provide technical support to the customer regarding product knowledge.
  • Description:
    • · Answer the telephone in an efficient and professional manner.
    • · Assist the customer in identifying the correct part or technology to achieve a solution.
    • · Attend training on new products and convey application to customers.
    • · Take part orders from customers over phone/fax/email and accurately enter into DISC system.
    • · Provide price and availability information to customer.
    • · Expedite Report-Follow up with customers and factories to ensure on time delivery. Communicate to customer if there is a delay in their order.
    • · Enter quotes for Non-Stock items into DISC.
    • · Be of assistance to outside sales in any way necessary.
    • Skills
        Required:
      • · Strong communication and organizational skills
      • · Knowledge of fluid power, sensors, motors, PLC’s and various industrial technologies
      • · Customer service motivation
      • · 2-5 years of customer service contact
      • · Attention to detail
      • · Ability to work independently
      • · The flexibility to learn and perform several job functions
      • · Demonstrated ability to learn concepts of a technical nature
      • · Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows
    • Education:
      Education in the field of industrial automation and fluid power, 2 year degree minimum.
